Skid Fender is a subsidiary company of Barriacel Systems Limited (BSL) located in Whangaparaoa, Auckland, New Zealand. BSL has been established to design, develop, manufacture and sell a range of products using the Barriacel process. BSL has a patented method of using laminated fibre reinforced foam and have developed a unique and innovative range of Skid Fender marine products to process and manufacture.
The fibre reinforced laminating method combined with an exclusive manufacturing process gives the foam increased flexural strength, flexibility, and impact resistance. The high impact resistance with greater resilience and longer lasting quality of materials are consumer friendly and offer comparable value.
